the xmas scene shows that chappie really wants a home and wants to be loved for and cared for by his family. he doesnt really care for material things but he would really enjoy making amends.

Raisin in the Sun Money Talks
so, they should invest 5k into buying morphine. then invest 1k into buying some good cooking equipment. then, they should cook down the morphine into heroin and sell it and they’d have 34 thousand!.
no, but in all seriousness, I think they should invest 8k into the liquor store, as I think in a few years it would make the money back and more. the other 2k should go to Beneatha (couch) college fund, so she can b a docta gurl.
This way, if either investment fails, they’ll have a backup plan so they don’t lose everything.

STRANGER DANGER!!!!!!!!!!
As I walked down first street, I felt a presence behind me. I turned and saw a man in an overcoat and a khaki fedora I quickened my pace and turned right. I decided to get my dad some chips and salsa because he always likes that, and complains if I don’t get him some. As I turned out of Randy’s, I saw the same man behind me. I tried ignoring him and focused on the task at hand. The warmth from the chips, the smell of them… it was almost to much to bear. My feet slapped the ground as I walked a little faster. Then I smelt smoke as the overcoat clad man walked past me. I almost stopped in my tracks. I hurried home then and upon entering, I saw an overcoat and fedora hung on the coat hanger. Cautiously, I walked towards the kitchen. There I saw my uncle smoking a cigar with a huge smile on his face.
“I didn’t scare you, did I?” he slowly said.
“No, not at all!” I replied and hurried away to my room, scared out of my willies.
